Nicky Carter has 11 years experience in Martial Arts, starting Jeet Kune Do in 1997 (Guru Lee Banda), as well as Doce Pares (Grandmaster Danny Guba) and Judo (Chris Bowles).
In 2000 she started Muay Thai with Alan Keddle and Chris Carley at Keddle’s Gym. Nicky’s competitive side attracted her to Thai Boxing instantly and from the start knew she wanted to dedicate all her training to Thai Boxing and competing.
From 2000-2007, Nicky had 16 professional fights (see Nicky’s Thai Boxing record), winning 5 titles: ISKA Southern Area title, WMTO English title, IMKO British title, WPKL European title and WBC World title. Nicky trained and fought in Thailand for 15 months where she was the 1st foreigner to fight an inmate inside a prison. She also competed on the Queen’s Birthday event (the most prestigious female Thai Boxing event in the world).
In 2007 Nicky decided to focus more on her career and pursued her ambition of becoming a full time Personal Trainer, Thai Boxing Instructor, Sports Therapist, and Nutritional Advisor by completing the Premier diploma.
